We know the last thing any parent wants is to bring a well child to the doctor's office and have the child get sick.  In order to minimize this problem, Dr. Bush's office has separate waiting rooms with separte entrances.
As you enter the building, the entrance to the left goes
to the "well" waiting room and the entrance to the right goes
to the "same day" waiting room.  In an effort to minimize the
spread of germs, we do not have any toys for the children
in the "same day" waiting room.  Instead, we have a tropical
fish aquarium for the children to enjoy.
For your convenience, we are happy to provide you with
a private, comfortable nursing room.

Patient Waiting Areas
Our Office Lab
For the convenience of our patients, we are able to do many
laboratory tests in our office.  We are able to perform complete
blood counts, urinalysis, urine cultures, rapid strep tests, strep
cultures, glucose checks, cholesterol and lipid screening, and
hearing and vision screening.  We are also able to do allergy
testing for the 36 most common childhood allergens.
Without having to do the multiple skin pricks, we are
able to obtain a teaspoon of blood from the arm and
test for allergies to trees, weeds, grasses, molds,
                     animals, dust, and foods.
Patient Treatment Rooms
The thought of going to the doctor can sometimes be
scary to our little patients.  So, we try to make them as
comfortable as possible.  One of the ways we do this
is by providing a variety of whimsical treatment rooms.
Themes range from sports, dinosaurs, aquatic, trucks, Noah's
Ark, and many more.  Our goal in offering these bright, cheerful rooms is to enable your little ones to feel more at ease.

Dr. Bush and his staff are dedicated to providing the best possible care for your children.  We take great pride in what we do and we look forward to watching your children grow from tiny babies to tantrum throwing toddlers to moody adolescents to college graduates!  We plan on being there every step of the way.  If there is any way that Dr. Bush or his staff can better serve you, please let us know.  We are here to help make parenting, the toughest job there is, a little bit easier.
We respect how busy parents are and how valuable every individual's time is.  As a result, we see patients on an appointment basis only.  Occasionally, we have parents bring a child in without an appointment.  Dr. Bush does not make that patient turn around and go home, but to be fair to the scheduled patients, he does see the walk-ins after the regularly scheduled patients.  At times, Dr. Bush has patients come in that are very sick.  We hope that parents understand that it is necessary to see those patients fist.  Also, from time to time Dr. Bush admits a patient to the hospital from his office.  Naturally, this causes delays.  Please be patient.
We are located at 1508-B Hardeman Avenue in downtown Macon, Georgia.

Insurance Information
Please be aware that we accept ALL private insurances but do not accept any new patients on Medicaid, Wellcare, or Peachcare.  We have done this in an effort to limit the size of our practice.  Thus, we are always able to see your sick child on the same day that you call.  Click HERE for more information about insurance and billing.
